Skin cancers usually present as an abnormal growth on the skin that can enlarge, bleed, be painful, or change in appearance. Some skin cancers can exhibit aggressive behavior including rapid recurrence after removal, spread to adjacent structures or lymph nodes or even other organs in the body.
Many skin cancers are easily treatable when caught early. Our surgeons work closely with dermatologists and plastic surgeons at regularly held multi-discipline tumor boards to ensure the most appropriate care with the best cosmesis.
